Gogue season includes ‘Hadestown,’ ‘Evan Hansen,’ ‘Mamma Mia!’

The national tour of “Mamma Mia!” is coming to the Gogue Performing Arts Center.

The upcoming Gogue Performing Arts Center season in Auburn includes several Broadway tours, including “Dear Evan Hansen,” “Mamma Mia!,” “Hadestown,” “Pretty Woman: The Musical” and “Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of the Temptations.”

The season also includes performances by Herbie Hancock, Rosanne Cash, Kathy Mattea and the Alabama Symphony Orchestra playing music from “The Wizard of Oz.”

Season tickets – including a Broadway series subscription – go on sale beginning June 25.

Here are the national tours coming to the beautiful venue in the 2024-2025 season:

“Dear Evan Hansen” (Oct. 25-26) is the Tony Award-winning musical about a high-school student whose lie after the death of a classmate and its aftermath lead to exploring themes of identity, belonging and the impact of social media.

“Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of The Temptations” (Dec. 3-4) is the Tony Award-winning jukebox musical featuring the songs of the legendary Motown group.

“Pretty Woman: The Musical” (Feb. 4-6, 2025) is the musical based on the movie starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere.

“Mamma Mia!” (March 25-26, 2025) is the 25th-anniversary tour of the hit musical featuring the songs of ABBA.

“Hadestown” (April 28-30, 2025) is the Tony Award-winning musical that intertwines the ancient Greek myths of Orpheus and Eurydice and Hades and Persephone.
