Homewood Theatre’s upcoming season includes more Bill Bugg, Truman Capote, ‘Dearly Departed’

Homewood Theatre has announced its upcoming season, and season tickets are on sale.

Here’s a look at what’s planned at the Soho performance space:

  • “Bill Bugg and Friends Part 7” (Aug. 1-4). Performer Bill Bugg gathers his performing friends together for a seventh edition of standards, Broadway classics and some surprises.
  • “But Why Bump Off Barnaby?” (Oct. 24-Nov. 3). A murder mystery comedy.
  • “A Christmas Memory” (Dec. 5-15). Truman Capote’s classic holiday tale comes to life in a new stage version.
  • “Dearly Beloved” (Jan. 30-Feb. 9, 2025). A comedy set in the wedding world by the writers of “The Hallelujah Girls.”
  • “Dearly Departed” (April 3-13, 2025). The Turpin family gathers together to say goodbye to their patriarch in this Southern comedy.
  • “Native Gardens” (May 29-June 8, 2025). Friendly neighbors feud over a fence line and a garden in this comedy.
