If you have an interest in local theater, either on stage or in the audience or behind the scenes, then you’re going to want to check out a first-of-its-kind forum on Sept. 3 at 6 p.m.
The free event will feature a panel of artistic leaders from 13 theaters in the area, sharing their missions and visions for the future, as well as answering questions from the audience.
Questions should be submitted in advance here, and they can be directed to a specific organization or the entire panel. The questions will be submitted anonymously.
Participating theaters include Red Mountain Theatre, Terrific New Theatre, Virginia Samford Theatre, Homewood Theatre, Encore Theatre and Gallery, Birmingham Festival Theatre, Theatre Downtown, TheDANE, ACTA Theatre, South City Theatre, Birmingham Children’s Theatre, Leeds Arts Council and Central Alabama Theatre.
The event will be held at Red Mountain Theatre, 1600 3rd Ave. South.
