If you’re indulging in spring cleaning, or you just want to help the renewed Terrific New Theatre get on its feet, consider donating items for its upcoming rummage sale.
What kind of rummage are the folks at TNT looking for? So far, they’ve gotten furniture donations, designer purses, exercise equipment, a leather recliner, books and a life-sized Elvis cut-out.
Though the sale itself is Aug. 3 from 7 a.m.-1 p.m., drop-off dates for rummage sales items are coming up sooner – July 28 (2-5 p.m.) and July 29-Aug. 2 (noon-6 p.m. each day). Both the drop-off and the event are at Avenue D Events (3008 4th Ave. South).
TNT is in the midst of a $2.3 million capital campaign as it renovates and prepares to open its new theater a 2112 5th Ave. North. The theater will open at the end of the year, and the first production planned is “Sunday in the Park with George.”
